Multi Dog Mastery Program
Managing a household with multiple dogs can be rewarding, but it also presents unique challenges when it comes to training. Our Multi Dog Mastery Program is specifically designed for homes with two or more dogs, providing you with the skills and strategies to create harmony and balance within your pack. At Sunfire Canines, we understand that training multiple dogs requires a specialized approach, and this program equips you to handle the dynamics of a multi-dog environment with ease and confidence.
Through this course, you’ll learn essential techniques to manage group behavior, reduce competition, and ensure that each dog responds to commands, whether individually or together. Our professional trainers will teach you how to understand your dogs’ body language, allowing you to interpret their signals and prevent conflicts before they arise. By mastering effective handling techniques, you’ll be able to control your dogs even in high-energy situations, both inside and outside the home.
We take a comprehensive approach that includes tailored training plans to address each dog’s unique personality, learning style, and behavioral challenges. You’ll learn how to set clear boundaries, prevent common issues like leash-pulling, barking, or resource guarding, and instill polite behavior around family members and guests. Our trainers will show you how to reinforce commands consistently across multiple dogs, ensuring they all respond reliably to your cues.
This course also covers the importance of leadership in a multi-dog household. We’ll guide you in establishing yourself as a calm, confident leader, so your dogs look to you for direction. Through this, you’ll create a more peaceful, structured environment, reducing stress and promoting a positive atmosphere for both you and your pets.
Whether you’re dealing with two puppies, adolescent dogs, or a combination of ages, Multi Dog Mastery will give you the skills to effectively train and manage your canine family. This course not only helps you bring out the best in each dog but also strengthens their bond with you and each other. Let us help you create a household where your dogs thrive together, making daily life enjoyable and stress-free for everyone involved.

Frequently asked Questions
Before booking a consultation and starting your dog’s training journey, we understand you may have some questions. Below, you’ll find answers to some of our most frequently asked questions to help you prepare. If you have any additional questions or need further clarification, feel free to reach out to us directly.
All new clients are required to book an initial consultation before beginning any training program. This consultation lasts up to two hours and is typically held at your home or a public location of your choice. During this time, we will discuss your training goals, address any questions or concerns, and evaluate your dog’s behavior to develop a personalized training plan. To ensure a smooth start, we ask that your dog is either leashed, crated, or in a separate room upon our arrival. You can also request a complimentary phone call prior to the in-person consultation to discuss preliminary details.
Before your consultation, please ensure that all dogs (with an exception puppies) are up to date on their vaccinations. You will need a 4-6 ft leash (flexible/retractable leashes are not recommended), and we encourage having your dog’s favorite treats readily available for training. Additionally, we recommend wearing comfortable clothes suitable for hands-on training. While note-taking is encouraged, we will also send a detailed follow-up email summarizing the consultation for your convenience.
Our lead trainer, Mackenzie, is highly skilled in a variety of training techniques, including clicker training, front-clip harnesses, and prong collars. However, we prioritize your comfort and will never pressure you to use any tool that makes you uncomfortable. We’ll work with you to find alternatives that suit your dog’s needs. If necessary, we will evaluate whether a muzzle is appropriate to ensure safety for everyone involved. With over 20 years of combined experience, the trainers at Sunfire Canines are here to guide you in selecting the best tools to achieve optimal results tailored to your dog’s unique needs.
